Hello world! I write these words (my inaugural blog post!) from my parents' sofa in Juno Beach, Florida, USA. Several days into 2010, I find myself peering out into the vast expanse of possibility that accompanies a new year. This year promises to be filled with many adventures and rich experiences; in a few weeks I will embark on my journey to Valparaiso, Chile as a Rotary ambassadorial scholar. For now I am consumed with the task of preparing to move to another country... lots of Rotary paperwork, tying up loose ends in law school, packing up two and a half years of accumulation from my apartment in Miami, and, of course, appreciating my time spent with cherished family and friends. The weather in South Florida right now is uncharacteristically chilly – appreciated by some Floridians, bothersome to others, and, to me, a cool reminder of the country to the south that beckons my arrival. From here, Natalie
